DIY snitch necklace

Hey guys, its Calista and I'm going to teach you how to make A Snitch Necklace.

First you need:

Any kind of Round or Pearl Bead

Wing Charms/Pendant

2” Head Pins and Eye Pins, Various Sized Jump Rings

Chain

Pliers, Wire Cutters

Hot Glue Gun plus Glue Gun Sticks

STEP 1

The directions will depend on your wing pendant; I would recommend purchasing a few (these are found easily online or at a craft store like Michael’s) to see what works best/what you like most. That being said, you’re going to want to glue the bead you’ve purchased (which will be the body of the Snitch) in the center of your two wings using your glue gun. If your wings are connected, glue them like so, and connect the wings to the chain using the two small jump rings (if your set has them).

STEP 2

If your wings are separated, put the bead on an eye pin (this will be the pin that has a tiny loop on one of the ends), and make a loop at the other end of the pin to enclose the bead. Then, connect your wings to your bead and eye pin with the two jump rings. You can then go on to connect the wings to the chain with small jump rings like we did in Type 1.

STEP 3

If your wings are not connected and don’t have holes or loops at the end (which I think might just be most common) place the bead on a head pin (the one with the flat end), loop its end, and add a jump ring for the chain. You can then use two more jump rings to connect the wings to the loop.
